LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy in NYC
Finding a therapist you connect with can be hard enough without also wondering whether they'll understand who you are. For LGBTQ+ people who are exploring their identity, that concern is real and we find that therapy works better when you're not spending your session time trying to explain your experience or worrying that your therapist doesn't have the language to understand you.
An affirming provider already understands the context you're bringing in, for example, the extra weight of navigating family, work, or dating as an LGBTQ+ person. We specialize in working with people who are questioning their identity and want to explore further with someone who already has the language and understanding to help you figure out what is happening for you.
Ways to Work with Us

Individual therapy offers a safe and confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Whether you're managing anxiety, depression, or major life changes, sessions are tailored to help you identify patterns, build coping skills, and achieve personal growth.

Couples therapy helps partners to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and build stronger relationships. Whether facing trust issues, recurring arguments, or navigating life transitions, sessions provide a collaborative space to foster understanding and intimacy.

Group therapy creates a supportive environment where participants can connect, share experiences, and grow together. We offer groups on a variety of therapeutic topics such as exploring identity and polyamory & CNM relationships.
